In case you haven't seen, the author has taken the site private. A userid and password is now required to view the site. Just an FYI...

I fully agree with Mike on this issue.

A few days, I was shocked to see a replica of Duncan's post on that page.

I also noticed this a while ago. Haven't got a clue who this is and they never asked me if they could repost my stuff.

Aaron,

I remember we talked about it, but I didn't remember the name or URL of the site. Looks like the maintainer of the site has moved on to new targets.

Jason,

Aggregation in and of itself is not a bad thing...just when content isn't appropriately attributed. When properly attributed, it will draw traffic back the original blog, as it should.

Thanks for reading!

Hey Scott - That is the site that I told you about a few months ago in the office. I posted a comment over there to please stop using my posts or at least clearly state where the posts were coming from.

Instead of other site, it used to say "contributor". I never contributed anything to them. After a back and forth with the site author a few changes were made but I noticed my content isn't there anymore.

I agree, I don't like the way the site is set up.

I understand how you feel, Mike...I ran into the same issue a short while back:

http://blog.scottlowe.org/2008/04/22/stolen-content/

It's infuriating to have someone replicate your content without even so much as a mention as to who really produced it! I hope that bringing attention to this matter will help fix it.

Yes, your british english is spot on. Looks like my little joke worked. My blog about blog as winded up on his site. So he must just have script to do this - and doesn't even bother to read the posts - so he's too lazy to even select the content for his readers...
