The COMSTAR project looks very interesting indeed. There is another open source project that has a similar oriented FC Target implementation in the planning, it&#039;s OpenFiler. The Release Candidate 2.3 of OpenFiler is now available, and it allows you to enable some qla2xxx controllers in target mode. I haven&#039;t had the time to test it myself, but it looks very promising.
OpenFiler also supports storage replication towards a 2nd OpenFiler, I guess it&#039;s just a matter of time before someone will adapt SRM to work on two OpenFiler&#039;s.</description>
