Scott - Not sure I’ll be in Orlando. But Jeff Woolsey will attend TechEd. You met him at VMworld in Sept and have seen 1 or 2 blog posts from him. Shoot him an email to set up time in Orlando to talk Hyper-V.

I vote for Scott to get a free pass to VMWorld (and for me also! :))

I’m hoping to do some work in the next couple of months (time permitting) with Sun’s virtualisation offerings, hopefully comparing Hyper-V/ESX and Xen/xVM side by side.

Almost got the kit signed off to do it…

As of yet, I have not had the opportunity to do any testing with xVM. I’m hoping to have that opportunity, but I can’t say for certain that it will actually happen.

Have you, or do you plan on testing any of Sun Microsystem’s new virtualization products? I’m waiting for xVM Server to come out as well as the open source version of X Ops Center 2.0. I’ll be interested in the performance (specifically of Xen’s paravirtualization) and manageability since Sun has stated that these products were the answer to ESX server. Thanks…
