I’m in San Diego this week for VMware Partner Exchange 2008. I’m signed up for mostly “Advanced Technical Track” sessions, so I’m hoping to gain a lot of knowledge and value out of the sessions. I don’t know how much information, if any, I’ll be able to share here; I suspect that a great deal of information will be covered by NDA and can’t be shared publicly.
If you happen to be at Partner Exchange, feel free to catch up with me.

If you ever need to connect with someone in San Diego who specializes in VMvare virtualization, I’ve worked with a great company out there (http://www.networks2000.com/) They specialize mostly in small business IT networks and so forth, but they do a great job… they could even be attending this conference, but I couldn’t guarantee it. Enjoy the spectacular weather!

Ted,
Thanks for the heads-up. Of course, there is this company called ePlus Technology which is known to have some good VMware expertise….
Unfortunately, the weather’s not so spectacular…cloudy and quite cool, not the sunny and warm weather I was expecting for the San Diego area. Bummer!

I thought the weather here in SD was supposed to be nice when we’re in town for a conference. I’m in some of the advanced tracks as well. I’ll keep an eye out for you.

Adam,
Yeah, the weather is really going to stink for those that are attending the party tomorrow (Wednesday) night.
Hope to run into you! Tomorrow I’m in the VDI hands-on lab, then into TECH304 for the VI infrastructural design workshop. I was in the BC/DR workshop today–it was pretty interesting. My group didn’t win, unfortunately, but maybe tomorrow!

Funny, I was in the BC/DR workshop as well. My group didn’t win either. I was actually surprised at the groups that won.
I’ll keep an eye out for you.

Adam,
I was equally surprised by the groups that won…not that either of them were bad, I just didn’t expect those groups.
Perhaps I’ll run into you in the VI architectural design workshop.
