Kimbro,

Unfortunately, I'm stuck in the same boat. While writing this post, I kept searching for the one great feature that I wanted VMware to add that would really make all the difference in the world, and I just couldn't think of what that should be. Although I know that VMware is not too terribly interested in adding a feature like Coherence (and some of their arguments are valid), I have to agree--Coherence is the one thing that so many non-technical users really want.

I'm not sure there is a killer feature for it. Snapshot is the one real differentiator, but in reality Coherence trumps it for the vast majority of users who just want to run Windows apps. For technical users, especially developers, snapshots are a big deal but I'm not sure they would be used that widely by the general user base. The driver for virtualization on the Mac is very different than it was for Workstation on Windows. That said I'm very, very happy they included snapshots in Fusion.
