It seems MS are trying to protect their small share of the virtualization market. Looking at comparisons like the one available at http://www.itcomparison.com/Virtualization/MS2005R2vsvi3/VirtualizationMS2005R2vsvmware3esx.htm I would feel MS are big way lagging into this field.
