Scott,

Nice trick. I'll have to make use of that functionality myself, as I'm a huge NNW fan. Thanks!

Newsgator (NNW) allows you have a feed based on a keyword search of all feeds they deal with. -- so I set up a newgator feed based on MailTags and I get blogs that mention MailTags shortly after they are published.

Quite handy.

Scott,

Thanks for the *VERY* quick reply (how did you know I had posted about MailTags so quickly, anyway?). "mdimport -L" doesn't list mailtags.mdimporter, yet my MailTags-specific searches in Mail.app (such as searches based on project) work just fine (and very quickly, might I add!). I'll copy mailtags.mdimporter into /Library/Spotlight (so it's available for all users) and force a re-index to see what happens.

Thanks!

Scott

Chances are all that was lost with your mailTags is the indexing in spotlight.

Make sure you have the mailTags.mdimporter in ~/Library/Spotlight
and rebuild your spotlight index. (the quick way is mdimport ~/Library/Mail in the terminal)

This doesn't work drop me an email.
