		<description>Nigel, thanks for the suggestion--it's been quite some time since I penned this post, and since then the VMX file edits you suggested have come to light. One note, however--with VMware ESX you'll need to SSH to the server in order to connect to the VNC displays and then tunnel the VNC traffic inside the SSH connection.

Otherwise, it works well.

to each .vmx file on the server (with unique port numbers), and restart each VM. You can then use a VNC client on the Mac (I use Chicken of the VNC) to connect to that VM (display 3 in the above example).</description>
